Formula Car Takes On a One-Stop Race

Formula Pit Stop Challenge in The Crew Motorfest on PS5 puts us into a fast five-lap formula race where speed and tire management both matter. We start from the back of the field and immediately push through the pack, trying to gain positions while reaching speeds above 300 km/h.

There is another important part of the race: tire wear. Instead of making several stops, our goal is to complete almost the entire event with only one pit stop, leaving it until late in the race. This gameplay turns the final laps into a battle between maintaining speed and keeping the tires in good enough condition to reach the pits.

Fighting Through the Formula Field

The race begins with eight formula cars on the track and plenty of positions to recover. After starting at the rear, we quickly move forward as the opening lap combines long high-speed sections with tighter corners.

The car reaches more than 300 km/h on the fastest parts of the circuit. Overtaking rivals becomes increasingly important as we work our way toward the front and eventually take the lead.

High-Speed Formula Pit Stop Challenge

As the laps continue, the Formula Pit Stop Challenge becomes more difficult. Tire wear gradually increases while we continue driving at high speed, forcing us to manage the car without giving up our position.

The circuit provides plenty of variety, including fast straights, sweeping sections, sharp turns, and a darker covered section. With several formula cars competing on the track, small mistakes can quickly cost valuable time.

Waiting Until the Final Laps

Rather than entering the pits early, we stay on track and try to make the tires last as long as possible. By the fourth lap, their condition becomes critical and the GO TO THE PIT STOP warning appears.

At this point, we are still pushing the formula car beyond 300 km/h on some sections. Tire management adds another strategic element to the racing game, as we try to maintain a strong position and reach the pit stop before tire wear becomes a bigger problem.

One Pit Stop Near the End

The key moment arrives late in the fourth lap. After spending most of the race on the same tires, we finally enter the pit lane for our first and only pit stop.

The car comes to a complete stop while the tires are changed, providing fresh grip for the final part of the race. Because the stop happens so late, there is little time remaining to recover any position or time lost in the pits.

Final Push in the Formula Pit Stop Challenge

With fresh tires fitted, we return to the circuit for the fifth and final lap. Back on the track, we chase the cars ahead and push through the final high-speed sections of the race.

The final lap includes another run beyond 300 km/h, fast corners, and a last battle for position. After managing the tires and completing only one pit stop across all five laps, we cross the finish line in 1st place with a time of 6:58.502.

Overall, the Formula Pit Stop Challenge combines high-speed formula racing with tire management and a late one-stop strategy.
